Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
The peer review process starts once you have submitted your paper to a journal.
After submission, your paper will be sent for assessment by independent experts in your field. The reviewers are asked to judge the validity, significance, and originality of your work.
- Manuscripts submitted to journals first go through an initial screening by the editorial team.
- Reviewers do not know the author's name, and authors do not know who is reviewing their manuscript (Double-blind review).
- Manuscripts that pass screening are sent to two peer reviewers for review.
- The peer reviewers independently make recommendations to the journal editor as to whether the manuscript should be rejected or accepted (with or without revisions).
- The journal editor considers all feedback from the peer reviewers and decides to accept or reject the manuscript.
